Welcome to My Practice
I am Madlen Voigt, a licensed psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children, adolescents, and young adults (up to age 21). I offer psychotherapy sessions in both German and fluent English.
Whether you are an international student struggling with the challenges of studying abroad, an expat family seeking support for your child, or a young adult dealing with mental health issues, I provide a safe, confidential, and culturally sensitive space to work through your difficulties.
Services & Focus Areas
Children & Parents
Support for behavioral challenges, fears, emotional regulation, and ADHD. Therapy involves close collaboration with parents through regular counseling sessions.
Adolescents
A private space to discuss and work on issues like depression, anxiety, social difficulties, self-esteem, or school-related stress.
Young Adults (Up to 21)
Specialized support for university students and young adults navigating transitions, performance pressure, relationship issues, or identity questions.
Costs and Insurance
Public Health Insurance (Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung)
My practice is currently a private practice (Privatpraxis). However, treatment costs can often be covered by public health insurances through a process called "Kostenerstattungsverfahren" (cost reimbursement). This requires documented attempts that no therapist with a public billing license was available in time. I can guide you through this process.
Private Health Insurance & "Beihilfe"
Private insurances usually cover the costs of psychotherapy. Please check your individual contract conditions beforehand.
Self-Payers
You can always choose to pay the therapy costs yourself. The fees strictly follow the official fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP).
